Roasting
Lazy Sunday is an easy roast that is easy to taste. It softens and transforms into warm to your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a delicious coffee which can be enjoyed on its own or paired with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It can also be paired with lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges well.
We recommend using the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating 1kg arabica coffee beans by adding some water that has just boiled will keep it warm. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for four minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are fully saturated and not over extracted. The water should be moved through the grounds using the plunger, but do not stir or agitate the coffee, this can lead to unpleasant elements in your cup.
Strength - 3 is a little softer and easygoing, great for weekend getaways.
Storage
Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast that has an uplifting cocoa and citrus aroma. It has a silky mouthfeel that sooths the palate. The cocoa-like hints can be traced to the winter days sitting on the sofa reading a good book and the warmth of a hug from the family. Pre-heat your French Press by using water that has not yet reached the boiling point. This is recommended to stop the coffee from absorbing too much and creating unwanted elements in your drink. Add the grounds, and 250ml of water that is off the boil. Then, after four minutes, you can take a plunge, and enjoy.
